thinkSMART Nintendo DS Games Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

I'm always looking for good educational games for the portable handheld systems. If you're into puzzle games, math games, memory games, mystery-solving games, or any brain-enhancing games, thinkSMART games have come up with a variety of these learning games that are available on Nintendo WII and Nintendo DS platforms. I was given the opportunity to review the thinkSMART as well as the thinkSMART Kids 8+. The games were just released in August 2010 by Mentor InterActive.

thinkSMART is the version that aims more for the adult. I think the older children would like it too. It is the newest brain-expanding learning game for the Nintendo DS. Challenge your memory, speed up your quick thinking, and improve problem-solving with exciting mini-games. There are six different training categories with three levels of difficulty. This brain training program helps players develop a wide range of thinking skills in imaginative and creative ways. Throughout the game, there are useful tips that can help you to succeed every challenge. You can play against friends, a computer opponent, or challenge your own records.

thinkSMART for Kids 8+ is a fast-paced collection of stimulating and brain-twisting puzzle games that challenges young players' brain power with creative and fun games. You can select a boy or girl coach for personalized feedback and contains 18 mini-games in 6 categories with three levels of difficulty. Your personal trainer will provide you with assistance when you need it and guide you through the game. Kids can play alone, with friends, or face down the computer in head-to-head competition.

I let my 2-year old Brandon play (with my assistance, of course). He's actually a pretty quick learner. He’s a still bit to young to understand completely, but he just gets excited with the animated characters and objects. He's always curious about things. Based on the challenge level, it is more for kids around 8 years and up as they recommend.

With these educational games, I believe it will help develop memory and language skills for both adults and children. Other games are also available as Think Logic Trainer and Think Logic Trainer Kids.

WHERE TO BUY
These games are available at your local Toys-R-Us, Best Buy, Game Stop, or on Amazon.com

They all look like great games but I think ThinkSmart Wii Family would be most useful for us. Thanks for the chance, justicecw@hotmail.com
