Baby Orajel SmartDose Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

Baby Orajel is the #1 teething brand used by pediatricians and the brand you trust to relieve baby’s teething pain. The makers of Baby Orajel introduce Baby Orajel SmartDose Teething Gel, which is now available in a pump that delivers just the right dose of teething medicine to relieve discomfort of your baby's teething. One press of the pump dispenses the right "pea sized" amount every time. Teething Gel comes in cherry flavored.

My little Brandon is still always biting things and especially the blanket. All his teeth are out, but I am assuming his molars are still growing out. I find that every baby/toddler teeth at different stages and react differently. Brandon is one of those fussy types. I used to freeze or sometimes refrigerate his teething toys. It worked for a short period of time, but Orajel worked a lot better. Orajel helped Brandon get a better sleep at night. Baby Orajel is a must have item for your teething baby/toddler.

I also just found out that Orajel is also available for adults (not just for kids) for fast relief of mouth pain due to toothache pain, cold sores, canker sores, mouth irritations and denture problems. I will have to look for it when I do need it.

BUY IT
Baby Orajel can be purchased from local retail stores.

Patti Teel's The Christmas Dream Music CD Review Giveaway (CLOSED)

Baby Brandon's Adventures 2010 Holiday Gift Guide presents...
The Christmas Dream by Patti Teel
from Dream Flight Productions

The Christmas Dream CD is a welcome respite from the overstimulation of the season. It was created for children, ages 3-10. On the recording, children learn to relax in Reindeer Flight Training, fly with Santa on a Global journey, hear prayers from around the world, and learn to care for all people.

About the Author
Patti Teel is a singer/songwriter, performer, and educator. She is the creator of an award winning relaxation audio series for children and the author of The Floppy Sleep Game Book, which gives parents techniques to help their children relax, deal with stress, or fall asleep. She is a popular speaker and presents innovative workshops for parents, children, and health professionals. Visit her website at www.pattiteel.com to learn more about her and her music/stories.

Little Brandon and I enjoyed the music. When we first listened to the first track, Brandon looks at me and smiled. Every track is calm and soothing with a very sweet voice. You'll get into the Christmas mood when you hear it and had me imagine about a snowy, quiet night. The music/songs tell a little story that kids enjoy and expand their imagination. Her experience in children's music have also helped to teach in a fun way to remain calm and relaxed.

As a pianist myself (and a music lover), her music has inspired me to learn more about children's music and also to continue to teach little Brandon.

The Album consists of two bedtime routines. The first routine, track 1-3, is a progressive relaxation, or "reindeer flight training." The second routine, tracks 4-11, takes young listeners on a trip around the world with Santa Claus. At bedtime or quiet time, children can listen to either routine separately, or one following the other.

Track Listing
1. Introduction: Meet Wise Owl and Moon
2. Santa's Emergency Meeting
3. Santa Says Game (Reindeer Flight Training)
4. You and Santa Visit Moon
5. You and Santa Fly Back to Earth
6. You and Santa Go to Mexico
7. You and Santa Fly From Country to Country
8. You and Santa Go to Ireland

Hasbro Games: Pop Goes Froggio

Looking for the perfect gift for your toddler this holiday season? I want to introduce you this fun game from Hasbro Games that kids will enjoy. As a new addition to Elefun and Friends, the Pop Goes Froggio game by toy supplier Hasbro is set to be a huge hit with all junior games fans everywhere.

Meet FROGGIO: Although he gets himself into sticky situations, FROGGIO always bounces back with a laugh. He's a witty sidekick who helps his friends on every adventure.

Leaping over lily pads isn't just for frogs! Get on your feet and run around to flip over these "lily pads" and find friendly character faces. When you make a match, rush over to press the launcher and send your FROGGIO figure flying. Can you catch this smiley guy or will the frog fall flat? Get matching and get catching!

Assembly was easy. We took out the toy out of the box and attach the plastic tube to the pump.  Froggio sits in the yellow flower on the lily pad. Brandon was eager to help me put it together.

Brandon thought it was funny when he saw Froggio jump. He'll giggle every time he steps on the pump. It actually makes noises too and it sounds like a frog croaking. Children will run about the room as they look under scattered lilypads for two matching faces. Whoever finds a match first gets to stomp on Froggio's launcher and send him tumbling through the air.

In this active matching game, preschoolers spread lily pads of Elefun and his friends around the room, spin the spinner and try to find the matching picture. The first preschooler to match the Elefun and Friends character to the right lily pad gets to stomp on the big green lily pad launcher and send Froggio for a triumphant leap!

BUY IT
The Hasbro Pop Goes Froggio game can be purchased from your local Toys-R-Us Stores or on Amazon.com

Disclosure: I received a copy of "Pop Goes Froggio" game at no charge in exchange for a review of my opinion. Thanks to Hunter Public Relations and Hasbro Games. The opinions expressed are my own personal and honest thoughts. No other compensation was given.

Brandon's Halloween Haunted Gingerbread House

Halloween is just around the corner. Last year, Brandon was a pumpkin. This year, he will be Elmo. At first, we couldn't find the right size costume for him, but the Elmo costume was perfect. What are your kids dressing up as?

Also... One day, daddy came home from work and surprised our little Brandon and bought a Gingerbread House Kit. Brandon was excited and he wanted to eat the cookie and candies before we even got started in building the house. It was a mess, especially with the icing.

My True Nature Baby Bath Products Review & Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to review My True Nature Baby Bath Products. I was excited to work with them and their cute character illustrations had my attention. A lot of kids like cute stuff and even Brandon loves bath time, especially playing with his bath toys and playing with bubbles. He loves bubble baths. When I told him the little bottles with the cute characters, he was excited to use them.  These TubbyTown characters make bath time fun for him.  The body wash was gentle enough for Brandon's sensitive skin and also gave him a good clean. It had a nice smell and it wasn't over powering. What's great about their product is that they use all natural and organic ingredients.

Bobo, Milo, Clio, and Ollie were created and drawn by artist Macy Wong. I am also an artist (more of a fantasy artist) and I really admire her style. Most of her illustrations consists of adorable characters. Her vector illustrations of cute characters are ideal for projects with children.  To see more of her work, visit her website at http://www.macywong.nl.

Features & Benefits:

* pure and natural formula
* nourish the skin while the cleansers gently remove germs and dirt

Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook

Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook:
50 Favorite Recipes to Make in a Slow Cooker

DESCRIPTION:

Now kids can prepare food in a slow cooker! No open flame! No hot stove top! It offers kids the direction they need to prepare main courses, snacks, and desserts.

Fix-It and Forget-It Kids' Cookbook: 50 Favorite Recipes to Make in a Slow Cooker offers kids the direction they need to prepare main courses, snacks, and desserts.

"Take your children a step beyond nachos and cupcakes," says author Phyllis Pellman Good. "Let them prepare a tasty main dish in that easy-to-get-along-with appliance — the slow cooker."

Each recipe includes a full-color photo of the finished dish. Each recipe gives clear step-by-step instructions. Each supplies a list of ingredients and a list of equipment needed to complete the prep.

"This is one friendly and engaging way to bring your children into the kitchen with you," states Good. "When they help to fix a meal that they and their family enjoy, they'll be back to make more."

Fix-It and Forget-It Kids' Cookbook includes Fruity Waffle Topping, Cheesy Egg and Broccoli Breakfast Casserole, Big Juicy Burgers, Super Spaghetti Sauce, and Chocolate Covered Pretzels. Plus 44 more "may-I-have-another-helping" favorites.

Brandon seems to like the pictures in the cookbook. It's been a while since I've cooked a decent meal. I've been too busy to cook these days and I really want to try something new. Now that Brandon is older, he was able give me a little help in preparing the food for cooking.

I was given the opportunity to review this cookbook called Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook, published by Good Books and written by Phyllis Pellman Good. This is a nice hardcover with spiral-bound. The photos are amazing. Each section of the book cover breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, and dessert.

Uh oh! I was sad when Brandon ripped the book by accident when he tried to catch it from falling off the table. I had to tape a few parts back. We still had fun making a bit of mess and cooking together.

Paper Shower Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

What is Paper Shower? It is a unique wet and dry, two-towel sanitary hand, face, and body wipe and is the world's first wet and dry towelette pack. It was designed to provide a refreshing body wipe when on the go and when shower or sink isn't available.

Great for many uses and activities: bicyclists, runners, campers, travelers, hikers, sports, beach, picnic, playground, and more.

This was great for use on our road trips and going to the park with little Brandon. While we were at the playground, his hands would get dusty and dirty with the sand. After wiping his hands with the wet towelette, I opened the dry towelette that came together. It was convenient. I didn't want to wait for his hands to dry before getting into the car. I didn't want him wiping his sticky, wet hands everywhere. Of course, we cleaned his hands with soap and water after we got home.

Paper Shower was invented by Dr. Jim Bahcall, a dentist who is an avid cyclist in his free time. Dr. Bahcall would carry instant hand sanitizer or wet wipes around in order to clean off his hands after riding—but was frustrated that his hands were then wet. He wanted to have a package that included both a wet, soapy towel as well as a dry towel. Nothing like this existed on the market, so he created it. The company is based in Lincolnshire, Ill.

BUY IT
Paper Shower can be purchased directly from their online store at an affordable price. You can purchase multi-packs online. The more you buy, you get a discount. The company offers free shipping with any size order!
