If I Could Keep You Little Story Book
(A great gift and inspiration for every parent and child!)

From a beloved bestselling author who has touched the lives of millions, If I Could Keep You Little is a sweet, inspiring book that will speak straight to a parent's heart, exploring the powerful feeling that every parent has, the push/pull feeling of wanting your child to grow and savoring and holding on to every moment.

If I Could Keep You Little exemplifies Marianne Richmond's real insights into the human spirit. This picture book showcases Marianne's beloved artwork, which beautifully illustrates these complex emotions, along with her insightful prose, both of which are sure to be cherished for generations to come. Taking the reader on a journey of memory and expectation, the book showcases the fleeting little moments that reveal how a child changes and grows.

"If I could keep you little,
I’d keep you close to me.
But then I’d miss you growing into
who you’re meant to be!"

About the Author:

Since her first book in 1997, Gift of An Angel, writer and artist Marianne Richmond has touched the lives of millions over the past decade through her line of greeting cards and gift books.

Find out more about her on her website at http://www.mariannerichmond.com.

This is a hardcover book and is released October 2010 and published by Sourcebooks Jabberwocky. I read the book to little Brandon just before his bed time as his bedtime story. The words in the book were emotional and soothing. It made me think about how Brandon was such a tiny baby couple of years ago and how I missed that. He was so adorable and that I wanted to hold him in my arms forever. Don't you all have the same feeling too? I know... Marianne is quite amazing how she is able to capture all our feelings and put it into a book with her wonderful artwork. Her book is worth reading over and over again. When Brandon is old enough to read, I am sure he'll enjoy the stories as much as I do.

WHERE TO BUY? The book is available for purchase directly from Sourcebooks online store or on Amazon.com.
