October is National Bullying Awareness Month #BossOfMyBody

October is National Bullying Awareness Month, and with 1 in 7 students in grades K-12 either bullying or being bullied, it’s important to give kids the tools they need to protect themselves early in life (surprisingly, the onset of bullying occurs between ages 3 and 4!).

The Mother Company believes that messages that are fun and empowering, reach parents and children more deeply with yet another "stamp out bullies!" slogan. With that in mind, their latest music video, “Boss of My Body,” uses a high energy song to empower children to know that no one can hurt them - no one. Not their siblings, not their peers, not the creepy boy scout leaders. We love imagining little rock stars everywhere busting a move to this fun song and dancing along!

The video features the amazing Marlee Hightower who danced her way to fame on America's Got Talent at the age of 11, and is part of "The Safety Show", and educational DVD set to release on October 15 but now available for pre-sale on Ruby's Studio.
