Rosita y Conchita Story App Review

Rosita y Conchita - Peek 'n Play Story App

Another wonderful story app just released on Thursday, October 25, 2012 by Mobad Media.

A touching tale of twin sisters a world apart, but to find each other they must rely on the closeness of their heart.

Help Conchita celebrate the life of her dearly departed sister as she sets up a memorial altar for her on the Day of the Dead. Follow Rosita on her journey as she makes her way through the spirit world following the clues from the altar in hopes of seeing her sister again.

• "Read To Me" highlights the words to improve reading skills
• "I Can Read" allows reading at your own pace
• Individual words can be tapped and multiple words selected to hear that section of the story played back
• How to Make a Sugar Skull
• How to Draw Rosita
• Interactive surprises and hidden objects on every page
• Hints can be turned on to assist in finding interactive thingamabobs
• Auto Play available if you want to watch the story unfold like a movie

This is an exciting way to teach children to read and be interested while reading the story. You have the option of having the story read to you or you read it on your own in English or Spanish. It's nice to learn the Spanish version of the story. The illustrations and characters are also really cute.

The story is about two sisters (one dead and one alive) who find a way to connect with each other. Brandon didn't seem much interested much about the story. He did enjoy more of the interactive parts where he could move things around. The story app I would recommend for the older child around ages 5 and up that would understand a little more about death and what is happening in the story.

Disclosure: I received a code to redeem for the above App at no charge in exchange for a review of my opinion. The opinions expressed are my own personal and honest thoughts. No other compensation was given.
