Breaking Boards Breaking Chains Fundraiser

We have been learning a little about slavery and how adults and many children are being treated unfairly and don't have their freedom in third-world countries. Our Martial Arts school (East Vancouver Taekwondo had a break-a-thon fundraising event on Saturday, April 29th. My friends and family sponsored me to break a board. For every $5 I raised, I was given 1 board to break (up to maximum of 5 boards). It was also a fun event for me to see other students and friends participating.
