This wonderful children's story book is written by Kathryn Cloward and Jody Duhamel and illustrated by Christine Winscott. It is a hardcover book with 40 pages, published by Kandon Publishing. The book quality is excellent with glossy pages and very colorful illustrations.

I was given the opportunity to review Kathryn the Grape: Just Like Magic book from author Kathryn Cloward. I've read the book to little Brandon and we both enjoyed the story. The book is about a girl named Kathryn who has a special butterfly friend named Maggie. They both have a magic wand. Whenever Kathryn gets scared or nervous, she'll use her wand and everything will be alright. It can only be used to do good things. And when something isn't right, the wand would buzz. The part that Brandon likes is, "Poof! Just like magic!".








As a child, Kathryn Cloward was gifted the nickname Kathryn the Grape (and because purple is her favorite color) by her softball coach, the late Nello Pierozzi (Mr. P). Years later, Cloward was inspired to bring her nickname to life.

The message of "Kathryn the Grape" is clear to all who wish to see it…to those who are determined to live a purposeful, magical life. These stories are a journey, a process of discovery, a gateway into embracing your inner magic.

The book inspires children to discover their own inner strength and fearlessness, learn about making new friends, and learn the importance of helping others. It is focused on teaching important life lessons in a dynamic, fun, and energetic way.
