The Christmas Dream CD is a welcome respite from the overstimulation of the season. It was created for children, ages 3-10. On the recording, children learn to relax in Reindeer Flight Training, fly with Santa on a Global journey, hear prayers from around the world, and learn to care for all people.






About the Author
Patti Teel is a singer/songwriter, performer, and educator. She is the creator of an award winning relaxation audio series for children and the author of The Floppy Sleep Game Book, which gives parents techniques to help their children relax, deal with stress, or fall asleep. Little Brandon and I enjoyed the music. When we first listened to the first track, Brandon looks at me and smiled. Every track is calm and soothing with a very sweet voice. You'll get into the Christmas mood when you hear it and had me imagine about a snowy, quiet night. The music/songs tell a little story that kids enjoy and expand their imagination. Her experience in children's music have also helped to teach in a fun way to remain calm and relaxed.

As a pianist myself (and a music lover), her music has inspired me to learn more about children's music and also to continue to teach little Brandon.

The Album consists of two bedtime routines. The first routine, track 1-3, is a progressive relaxation, or "reindeer flight training." The second routine, tracks 4-11, takes young listeners on a trip around the world with Santa Claus. At bedtime or quiet time, children can listen to either routine separately, or one following the other.
